Four guys that have decided to put their stamp on the world with an inspirational fusion of strong powerful pop melodies structured within an edgy rock framework. The Latch is Lee (lead vocals), Simon (Lead guitar), Ste (Bass guitar) and Griz (Drums). Each started his musical involvement at a very young age. Their diverse international experiences brought them in touch with different types of music helping to form their unique style. Their growing fan base shows the band has developed their musical passion into an awesomely entertaining force. The Latch is a wickedly tight live band with high energy and plenty of fun, an explosion waiting to happen.

Lead vocalist is Lee Latchford Evans. After discovering a passion for music and entertainment at an early age, being involved in a number of musicals and working with The Royal Shakespeare Company, Lee decided to take his ambitions and determination a little further. He trained professionally for 5 years in musical theatre, dance, drama and stage management. This led him to be chosen as a member of the band Steps' who sold over 12 million records world-wide, won numerous awards (including a Brit) and became one of the biggest touring bands the UK has ever seen. Lee's natural song writing ability allows him to write his songs from the heart, about experiences he¹s had and ones he thinks people can relate to.

What with Lee, and the other musical influences from the rest of the band, The Latch's sound is a tough one to compete with. Their live experience has built having played hundreds of gigs over the last few years. They released their first single, Miracle, in late 2007 and an album is set to follow. With years of live experience and industry knowledge behind them, The Latch are set to take 2008 by storm.
