Andy Newton Lee

Andy Newton Lee, 26, grew up in Hull with his parents and sister Katie. He studied Law at Hull University for 2 years before deciding acting was what he wanted to do. He got his first TV break in Where The Heart is and has not looked back since. During 2004 he played Robbie Flynn in Hollyoaks; an aspiring Casanova with an eye for the ladies. He has also had notable roles in Coronation Street, Heartbeat and Doctors.

Soon after this Andy was diagnosed with skin cancer which he has attributed to the use of sunbeds. He is now in remission but still dedicates a lot of his time to fundraising for Cancer Research UK and has completed the London Marathon on their behalf several times now.

Andy wanted to continue living the dream and moved to LA where he has successfully started his own business; Next Stop LAX. This is a relocation company for actors and other industry professionals and the business has some very high profile clients. Andy has also continued to work in other mediums in LA, voicing Orlando Bloom in Celebrity Deathmatch and presenting various shows for the E! Channel amongst other things.

Still splitting his time between LA and London, Andy decided he wanted to act again and can now be seen starring in BBC1’s Casualty as Stacey – a childhood friends of Abs (played by James Redmond).
